Where exactly is Nagueles?
The Golden Mile runs roughly four kilometres from Marbella town to Puerto Banus. Nagueles is the stretch above the A-7, rising north into the pine belt below La Concha. Marbella old town is about two kilometres east, Puerto Banus about five kilometres west. The sea is near but not on your doorstep: from most addresses here the beach is a short drive rather than a walk.
The gated estates sit higher still. Sierra Blanca and Cascada de Camojan are neighbours of Nagueles, not parts of it, however often a listing blurs the two. Ask for the street, not the label.
What does property cost in 2026?
Engel and Voelkers puts houses in Nagueles at roughly 5,781 euros per square metre this year and apartments at roughly 6,024. Detached villas commonly list between 1.3 million and just over 4 million euros. Indices that merge Nagueles with the beachside Golden Mile read far higher, near 8,313 euros per square metre, because the coastal strip drags the average up. So check which side of the A-7 a property sits on before you compare any price per metre. It is the single biggest reason two Golden Mile valuations disagree.
Summer at the quarry
The Cantera de Nagueles is a former quarry turned 3,500 seat auditorium, ringed by rock walls that rise around 60 metres. Its XV Starlite Occident season ran 49 nights between 19 June and 29 August 2026. If you are staying or letting near Calle Albinoni in July and August, plan for traffic and late crowds on concert nights. Most of the year the same streets are silent.
