Starlite Occident is Marbella's summer music festival, held every year since 2012 in the Cantera de Nagüeles, a former quarry in the hills above the Golden Mile that seats around 3,500 people. The 2026 edition, its fifteenth, ran for 49 nights from 19 June to 29 August, with Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5 and Nile Rodgers and CHIC among the headliners. The first names for 2027 are usually announced over the winter, and we add the dates here as soon as they are confirmed.
When is Starlite Marbella?
Starlite runs from mid or late June to the end of August, with concerts on most nights rather than every night. The 2026 season opened on 19 June and closed on 29 August. Shows start late by northern European standards, often after 22:00, so a Starlite night is dinner first and the concert second.
Who played Starlite in 2026?
The fifteenth edition mixed international headliners with the biggest names in Spanish and Latin music. Lenny Kravitz played on 29 June and Maroon 5 on 7 July, and the closing weeks leaned Spanish and Latin:

Where is the Starlite venue and how do you get there?
The Cantera de Nagüeles sits on Calle Albinoni in Nagüeles, about ten minutes by car from Marbella old town and a little over fifteen from Puerto Banús. The access road is single file in both directions and backs up badly either side of showtime, and everyone leaves at once. Two things make the night easier: book a return taxi rather than trusting the rank afterwards, and eat before you go up rather than relying on the venue.

Stay on the Marbella side of town, in the centre, on the Golden Mile or in Nagüeles itself, and a forty minute return trip from Elviria or Estepona becomes a ten minute one.
